  • Leverage CBRNE subject matter expertise to identify technical risks, potential misuse scenarios, and emerging threat patterns.
  • Collaborate with Safety Strategy Analysts, Policy Managers, and Threat Intelligence Investigators to identify enforcement trends, policy gaps, and opportunities to improve safety classifiers.
  • Document findings, support enforcement decisions, and prepare weekly operational reports.
  • Review customer communications and appeals related to policy enforcement.
  • Support content labeling, escalations, and cross-functional requests as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following disciplines:
    • Biological: Biosecurity, biosafety, microbiology, biotechnology, biological sciences, or related areas.
    • Chemical: Chemistry, chemical safety, toxicology, chemical security, or related areas.
    • Explosives: Explosives safety, energetic materials, explosive threat assessment, or related areas.
    • Radiological/Nuclear: Nuclear science, radiation safety, radiological protection, nuclear security, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess complex technical information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to consistently follow established policies and workflows.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • Interest in AI safety, emerging technologies, and responsible AI development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, safeguards enforcement, threat intelligence, or risk assessment.
  • Background in scientific research, technical safety review, security analysis, or policy enforcement.
  • Familiarity with AI systems, large language models (LLMs), or AI-related misuse risks.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across technical, policy, and operational functions.

Important Role Considerations
