We are looking for a Field Support Technician for our client in Nashville, TN
Job Title: Field Support Technician

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience in desktop and end-user support.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of VPN, network printing, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience managing tickets and working within SLA frameworks.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Experience:

  • 4 7 years of experience in on-site IT support or related roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Perform break-fix support, IMACD activities, data migration, and system refreshes.
  • Provide desk-side support and onsite technical assistance to end users.
  • Manage ticket queues and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and configuration changes.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues impacting user experience.
  • Support IT setup for events and meetings, including coordination with AV teams.
  • Assist with disaster recovery and emergency IT support.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Conduct access reviews, audits, and maintain documentation logs.
  • Coordinate with Level 3 support and project teams for escalations and improvements.
  • Participate in on-call support on a rotational basis.

Should Have:

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in diverse technical environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to remote locations as needed.

Skills:

  • Desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • IT service management and SLA adherence.
  • Hardware and software installation.
  • Vendor coordination and communication.
  • IT operations support.

Qualification and Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
