AV Service Technician to support and maintain cutting-edge audiovisual systems for their existing client base. This is an ideal opportunity for a
5+ yearAV installer who wants to transition into service work - or a service technician ready to work on
high-end, complex systems in executive environments.

What You'll Be Working OnYou'll be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across a wide range of enterprise AV systems, including:
- Custom Control Systems: Crestron DM & NVX, AMX
- Complex AV Systems in executive boardrooms and conference centers
- Video Conferencing Systems
- AV over IP (AVoIP) across LAN, WAN, and internet environments
- Audio DSP Systems: amplifiers, speakers, microphones
- Projection Systems & Displays
- Video Walls & Digital Signage
- RF Systems (basic exposure - analog & digital)
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot system, signal, and connectivity issues using a multimeter and diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on client systems
- Conduct site surveys to support service agreements and quotes
- Write clear, concise service reports and system documentation
- Manage multiple service calls and priorities independently
- Interface professionally with enterprise-level customers
- Lead and mentor junior/intermediate field technicians when needed
What We're Looking For- 3+ years of AV field service experience (5+ years of installation experience considered)
- Strong troubleshooting mindset - you know how to isolate and resolve issues
- Hands-on experience with Crestron and/or AMX systems
- Comfortable working in executive and customer-facing environments
- Own basic hand tools and understand proper field practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications- CTS certification (highly preferred)
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
