Job Title: Java Backend Developer Lead
Summary:
Senior/Lead Backend Engineer is responsible for leading a team of offshore engineers (DEV and QA) and being available during most
Onshore EST timings. Role includes becoming a bridge between the dev team and the onshore business team. Role includes hands-on
development (programming) on all backend technologies. Good knowledge of Java, Spring and SpringBoot, MySQL and AWS
Architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Becoming the bridge between dev team and business team
- Debug issues that arise during onshore time
- Converting legacy applications into micro-services hosted in AWS.
- Leading the dev team by writing quality code, reviewing pull requests, and setting coding standards.
- Strong Database skills in MYSQL
- Experience working in AWS architecture
Required Skills:
- Java/MySQL, Spring, Spring Boot and AWS skills
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in programming
- Served as dev lead at least for a year
- Preferred Qualifications
- Docker and Azure DevOps knowledge
Work Site: Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Expected Start Date: Immediate
