About the RoleWe are seeking a
senior-level Technology Leader - Network Architecture to act as both the technical authority and customer-facing technology lead for complex network initiatives. This individual will work closely with technical teams, interface with customer engineering groups, and represent our organization's technical capabilities onsite. A strong background in enterprise and manufacturing network environments is essential.
This role requires deep expertise in network architecture, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive automation and innovation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Architecture- Collaborate with customer technical architects to design and validate complex network solutions.
- Serve as the onsite technical representative, building trust and demonstrating engineering capabilities.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Develop enhanced, sustainable support models for manufacturing environments, including solutioning, request handling, incident resolution, and improving turnaround models.
- Identify repetitive tasks and champion automation to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
- Promote and adopt internal automation platforms to support future network build automation.
- Actively participate in Technical Review Boards.
- Represent the organization during major incidents across manufacturing, R&D, and data center environments; act as the technical spokesperson.
Customer Engagement & Program Leadership- Act as the primary technical interface for customers, providing project visibility and technical insights.
- Resolve technical challenges quickly to maintain customer confidence.
- Drive delivery teams to meet expectations related to quality, timelines, and execution.
- Mentor team members and foster continuous learning and skill development.
- Develop proactive roadmaps, innovative ideas, and strategies to strengthen customer relationships.
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Expertise- Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco LAN/Wireless
- Juniper Mist Wireless (future adoption: Mist LAN)
- Cisco DNAC (migration planning to Catalyst Center)
- Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers (nice to have)
- DDI solutions (Infoblox preferred) and Audiocodes
- Experience with networking tools such as LogicMonitor, NetBrain, ThousandEyes, LiveAction, etc.
Additional Requirements- Strong understanding of Data Center, Manufacturing IT/OT, and corporate network architectures.
- Automation mindset - ability to design and implement automation for network builds.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in network architecture and technical leadership.
- Strong project management and customer engagement background.
- Industry certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE preferred.
