Project Management Consultant-Level 3 - Senior (11 - 15 Years)

Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

This position supports the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The role involves supporting construction work performed by contractors at the project site. This is an office-based role in the Pre-Construction group that can incorporate travel as needed, offering an opportunity for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned Solar projects and actively manage them through the early-stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team.
  • Deliver technically feasible, schedule-appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable projects.
  • Analyze technical and financial data to extrapolate notable variables, indicators, and trends.
  • Create, take ownership of, and actively manage the assigned Solar project capital budget.
  • Serve as development and permitting support, coordinate with subject matter experts, and facilitate engineering.
  • Engage in problem resolution, support capital budget activities through approvals, and develop a viable construction plan/schedule.
  • Support negotiations and execution of commercial contracts and investigate optimization opportunities.
  • Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
  • Interface with landowners, local regulators, state agencies, and executive leadership.
  • Reinforce expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, and appropriate work behaviors for all staff.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Experience: 11 - 15 years of experience leading construction projects and managing scope control, scheduling, and compliance requirements.

Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Capability of working independently with limited direction.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience with PM scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Strong financial and data analysis skillset.
  • Experience in the construction/renewables, energy, or solar industry.
  • Understanding of wind turbine construction and inspections.
  • Mechanical awareness or interest in technical variables.
Compensation & Benefits

A compensation range of $52.00 to $57.50 per hour is offered for this position.
