Job Title: Senior Category Merchandising
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals who excel at driving consumer-focused merchandising strategies. Our team values those who can shape and enhance product assortments within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, ensuring alignment with evolving marketplace trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive channel-specific assortment plans for kids footwear and apparel, blending data analysis with creative product storytelling.
- Translate overarching product strategies into actionable assortments tailored to channel needs, consumer preferences, and inventory capacities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, planning, brand, and finance, to inform decisions using both quantitative and qualitative business reporting.
- Enable sales teams with effective presentations, clear priorities, and market insights to ensure confident product positioning across all seasonal cycles.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in footwear merchandising, product creation, or retail; experience in kids categories or apparel is beneficial.
- Demonstrated proficiency with retail and digital KPIs such as sell-through rates, inventory productivity, and margin management.
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively in large group settings, with a strong attention to detail and collaborative approach.
