Job Title: Scrum Master – Retail Digital Programs
Location: Plano (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong Retail domain experience to lead Agile delivery for digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove team impediments, and ensure Agile best practices are followed while working closely with cross-functional teams in the retail technology ecosystem.
The role requires collaboration with product owners, engineering teams, and retail business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions across ecommerce, store systems, omnichannel fulfillment, and supply chain platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation
- Act as a servant leader and coach Agile teams to ensure successful Scrum adoption.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Track sprint progress using Agile tools and ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments.
- Remove impediments and work with leadership to resolve delivery risks.
2. Retail Domain Collaboration
- Work closely with teams supporting retail systems such as:
- POS (Point of Sale)
- Ecommerce platforms
- Omnichannel fulfillment (BOPIS, curbside pickup)
- Inventory and merchandising systems
- Supply chain platforms (OMS, WMS)
- Help translate business requirements from retail stakeholders into actionable user stories.
3. Program Coordination
- Coordinate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, QA teams, Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver features aligned with product roadmaps.
- Support release planning and dependency management across multiple Agile teams.
- Ensure proper sprint documentation, backlog prioritization, and user story refinement.
4. Agile Coaching & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor team members on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and team collaboration.
- Monitor team velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization.
5. Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular updates on sprint progress, risks, and delivery status to leadership.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and retail business stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency across teams and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of IT experience with 4–5 years as a Scrum Master.
- Experience delivering Agile programs in the Retail industry.
- Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and Kanban practices.
- Experience working with retail platforms such as POS, ecommerce, OMS, or supply chain systems.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Azure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum certifications such as:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- SAFe Scrum Master
- Experience supporting cloud-based retail platforms on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in large enterprise retail transformation programs.
