Network Engineer – Enterprise & Security
Location: South Florida/Orlando (Hybrid / Travel as required)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise campus and data center network solutions across a variety of environments.
This is a full-time, delivery-focused role within a professional services setting. The ideal candidate has strong networking fundamentals, hands-on experience, and the ability to execute projects within defined scope while minimizing risk.
This role requires comfort working across campus, data center, and security domains, along with strong collaboration skills in cross-functional and client-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise campus networks, including routing and switching
- Design and implement data center network solutions across core, aggregation, and access layers
- Implement and support firewall platforms (vendor-agnostic experience preferred)
- Participate in the full project delivery lifecycle:
- Technical planning and validation
- Change implementation and maintenance windows
- Documentation and knowledge transfer
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across Layer 2–Layer 4
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Follow established delivery processes, templates, and best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards and documentation
Required Technical SkillsRouting & Switching
- Strong hands-on experience with dynamic routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
- Solid understanding of spanning tree concepts and redundancy protocols
- Experience deploying and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructure
- Experience working in multi-site environments
Security
- Hands-on firewall experience required
- Experience with enterprise security platforms and network segmentation concepts
Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Experience with modern data center networking technologies (e.g., overlays, segmentation)
- Experience with network automation or centralized management tools
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise or data center environments
- Experience working in a consulting, services, or project-based environment
Certifications
- Active professional-level networking certification required (e.g., CCNP or equivalent)
- Additional certifications in data center or security are a plus
- Ongoing certification development is highly valued
