Job Description:
SQL/ETL Developer with experience designing, developing, and supporting data pipelines and applications. Expert in SQL and ETL development, testing, and validation, with a track record of delivering complex solutions using best practices and sound judgment. Comfortable with on-call rotations and weekend support as needed.
Key responsibilities
Design, modify, develop, and implement software applications and data workflows.
Write performant, maintainable SQL and ETL code; perform code reviews and validations.
Support and/or install software applications and operating systems.
Participate in ETL testing (unit, integration, regression) and release processes.
Apply industry concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
Handle complex tasks with creativity and autonomy; collaborate across teams.
Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends as required.
Core qualifications and skills
10+ years in SQL development and ETL.
Strong SQL (DDL/DML), query optimization, performance tuning.
ETL design patterns, data quality/validation, error handling, logging.
Version control and code review practices; CI/CD basics.
Familiarity with operating systems and application support.
Strong problem-solving, judgment, and stakeholder communication.
Comfortable with on-call, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
