Overview The TPP team is responsible planning, development, testing and implementation of critical portfolio of projects in the Service Operations Organization. This role will be responsible for all technical knowledge and know-how associated with end of year activities, maintenance projects, and business processes as well as leading and supporting technical analysis required to successfully completing the projects in a timely manner. Majority of these projects are in the mainframe environment; however, the team member is expected to be able to handle mainframe application integrations with other upstream and downstream applications and systems. The team members should be able to hands-on COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL coding as well as oversee other team members' work. Our team is constantly working on standardization and optimization activities. Team member should have the ability to organize, document and share information for cross-training among team members.
Responsibilities - Direct and oversee teams during planning, development, testing and implementation activities. Focus will be on the technical analysis, troubleshooting and technical coordination.
- Expert-level knowledge in FIS Core Banking Systems (RM, GN, I M, AM, SC, TX)
- Ability to quickly change course and prioritize the highest impact work. Keen ability to understand the organization and business stakeholder needs and balance them with resource skillsets and utilization.
- Develop and deploy COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology in a timely remediation method. Able to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Strong working knowledge of COBOL/DB2/CICS/JCL
- Analyze, research, code, test and deploy solution as part of the incident resolution process as part of our team's total ownership model and post-implementation support.
- Constantly look out for process improvement items to improve our project portfolio and perform the required technical research to find the most optimal solution.
- Ability to communicate with and report to business stakeholders and executive management. Direct and coordinate with team members to support project and program implementation.
- Should be able to work with vendors and members from other teams within the organization.
- Peer review of project plans, code changes, packages made by the team members.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members on their work.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring technical incidents.
- Ensure compliance with NFCU and ISD standards and protocols.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with team members and other stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Extensive knowledge and experience in FIS Core Banking Systems (RM, GN, IM, AM, SC,TX).
- Knowledgeable in COBOL, DB2, CICS and JCL.
- Ability to work and collaborate with peers and all levels of management, staff and vendors.
- Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely.

- Experience that demonstrates knowledge and skill in domain area (COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL and troubleshooting.

- Demonstrate skill in exercising initiative and good judgment, and making sound decisions
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
