The Salesforce Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in translating business strategy into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. This individual is responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture, guiding technical delivery teams, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and roadmaps.
This role requires deep expertise across Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud), strong architectural judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams. The Solution Architect will act as a technical authority, ensuring solutions are future-ready, compliant, and optimized for performance and maintainability.
As the architectural lead, this role partners closely with Product Owners, Domain Architects, and Technology Leaders to shape the solution vision, govern design decisions, and enable successful execution across multiple agile teams and vendors.
What you ll be doing:
- Own and define end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, integration patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
- Actively participate in business and product discussions, providing architectural guidance, feasibility assessments, and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Technical Domain Owners, and Security teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and compliance requirements.
- Design robust data models, integration strategies, and API-based solutions to support enterprise-scale use cases.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC, including design reviews, sprint planning, development oversight, and release readiness.
- Guide and mentor developers and technical leads, promoting Salesforce best practices and architectural consistency.
- Define and document solution designs, integration diagrams, data flows, and non-functional requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate work with external SaaS providers and implementation partners.
- Ensure solutions align with performance, scalability, security, and availability expectations.
- Support agile delivery by refining user stories, defining technical acceptance criteria, and resolving cross-team dependencies.
- Influence and establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Communicate architectural vision, progress, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
