Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manager, Product Development for a contract position with a Global Music and Entertainment Company located in New York, NY. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. This role involves assisting with merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel production, cost negotiation, and managing supplier relationships to ensure product integrity.
Responsibilities: - Assist in executing merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns
- Manage timelines and schedules across cross-functional teams
- Negotiate and cost-engineer products to meet retail targets and margins
- Assist in overseeing pre-production timelines and compliance with product specifications
- Assist with managing supplier relationships and product integrity throughout the development process
Requirements: - 3-5+ years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product development
- Diverse market experience across various apparel segments including men's, juniors, and children's wear
- Strong skills in cost negotiation with vendors and product engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field (Preferred)
Desired skills: - Music merchandise production experience is a plus
Pay range: up to $40.00 per hour
