Position Summary

Join a global technology and infrastructure team responsible for supporting, securing, and optimizing enterprise network environments. This role focuses on implementing and managing LAN/WAN network changes, enhancing network performance, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment. The successful candidate will work closely with network engineers, infrastructure teams, and security professionals to implement routing, switching, and firewall configurations while ensuring reliable and secure network operations.

The position operates with moderate independence and provides opportunities to collaborate with senior engineers on complex infrastructure and security projects. Candidates should have experience with network protocols, infrastructure management, and information security best practices in large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support LAN/WAN infrastructure changes across global network environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network switching technologies and routing protocols, including OSPF.
  • Enable and support SNMP monitoring solutions to improve network visibility and performance management.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions to ensure secure network connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance and security events, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Assist in developing and implementing information security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Protect organizational systems and digital assets from unauthorized access, modification, or disruption.
  • Support vulnerability assessments, security audits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Investigate network and security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Maintain access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network security tools.
  • Collaborate within Agile project teams to deliver infrastructure and security enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when required.
  • Document network designs, configurations, procedures, and operational standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, information technology, or cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience implementing and managing LAN/WAN networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • OSPF routing
    • SNMP monitoring
    • Switch configuration and management
    • Enterprise firewall administration
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of operating systems and associated security controls.
  • Familiarity with intrusion detection, prevention, and network monitoring tools.
  • Ability to follow established processes and use infrastructure and security administration tools effectively.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global enterprise network environments.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity operations, IT auditing, or security incident response.
  • Knowledge of database administration, design, or performance optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as:
    • CCNA
    • CCNP
    • Network+
    • Security+
    • Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar firewall certifications

Must-Have Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of LAN/WAN infrastructure experience.
  • Strong experience with OSPF routing.
  • Experience enabling and managing SNMP.
  • Hands-on switch configuration experience.
  • Firewall configuration and administration experience.
  • Network troubleshooting and monitoring expertise.
  • Ability to support infrastructure changes in a global enterprise environment.
  • Experience working within cross-functional technical teams.
