Job Summary
IRG Clients is seeking a highly skilled DataOps Engineer to drive modernization, automation, and operational excellence across our data and cloud platforms. This role focuses on building resilient data pipelines, strengthening identity and access controls, and enabling secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure in Azure-centric environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Azure cloud administration, Microsoft 365 and Intune management, CI/CD automation, and advanced IAM/IDM practices to support complex data, software, and network ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end DataOps pipelines and platform infrastructure in Azure environments.
  • Automate data workflows, deployments, and environment provisioning using CI/CD best practices.
  • Implement and manage robust Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDM) frameworks for data platforms.
  • Ensure platform compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX and PCI through secure architecture and operational controls.
  • Integrate runtime platforms and enterprise systems to support scalable data operations.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve reliability, performance, and availability of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, security, and DevOps teams to streamline data delivery and governance.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint configurations to support secure data access.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts to standardize deployments and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform, network, and data environment issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Proven experience implementing IAM/IDM solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with SOX, PCI, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint management in secure environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and enterprise platform operations.
  • Solid foundation in IT security and platform reliability engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications related to Azure, security, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience integrating runtime platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Background working in regulated or compliance-driven industries.
