- Deliverability best practices (list hygiene, sender reputation, engagement targeting)
- Performance optimization & A/B testing
Preferred Skills- SFMC certifications
- Experience integrating SFMC with CRM
- HTML/CSS for email troubleshooting
- API familiarity a plus
Role OverviewResponsible for building, executing, and optimizing multi-channel campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Serves as the link between marketing strategy and technical implementation, ensuring accurate, personalized, and high-performing customer communications.
Core ResponsibilitiesCampaign & Journey Execution- Build and deploy email/SMS journeys and automations
- Create personalized/dynamic content (AMPscript, Content Builder)
- Manage segmentation, scheduling, throttling, QA, and launch processes
Platform Administration- User/role management, business units, sender profiles
- Maintain data extensions, contact model, configuration
- Ensure system performance, troubleshooting, release management
Data & Analytics- Build segments via filters + SQL
- Maintain automated data imports and workflows
- Create reporting dashboards/KPIs; use insights to optimize campaigns
Stakeholder Collaboration- Gather requirements, define audiences, align to goals
- Advise on best practices and technical feasibility
Governance & Compliance- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR/CCPA
- Maintain preference centers, naming conventions, QA processes
- Document workflows and support training for marketing users
Continuous Improvement- Stay current on SFMC releases and MarTech trends
- Pilot advanced personalization, new features, or channels
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
