Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to support aircraft maintenance operations by performing inspections, repairs, replacements, and maintenance on aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will possess an active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification and demonstrate the ability to perform maintenance activities in accordance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and established maintenance procedures.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment while ensuring aircraft safety and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the repair, replacement, and maintenance of aircraft components and systems.
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostic evaluations on aircraft mechanical and functional systems.
  • Test, repair, and replace defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts.
  • Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and related documentation.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Support airframe, powerplant, and/or combined A&P maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to meet operational and project deadlines.


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Active and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
  • Ability to successfully pass written, oral, and practical assessments.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must possess reliable transportation to and from work locations.
  • Must own and maintain required tools in good working condition.
  • Ability to pass and maintain Class III physical requirements, including a hearing evaluation.
  • Familiarity with technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and maintenance publications.
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance practices and safety procedures.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an FAA Repair Station environment.
  • Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience within aviation maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or military aviation programs.
  • Prior experience with the U.S. Department of Defense or military aviation operations.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required.


Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, and move throughout maintenance facilities.
  • Perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and finger movements.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color differentiation.
  • Ability to hear and distinguish various tones, sounds, and volume levels.


Work Environment
  • Work may be performed in aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and outdoor environments.
  • Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other environmental elements.
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise, aircraft equipment, fumes, and hazardous materials.
  • Must adhere to all workplace safety regulations and procedures.
