About the Role
Our firm is recruiting an IT Systems Imaging Specialist on behalf of a large, fast-growing organization in the renewable energy sector. This role supports corporate employees at a primary office location in Lehi, Utah and is a key part of the IT provisioning and onboarding process for new hires.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Windows imaging professional who enjoys building, maintaining, and deploying standardized system images while working closely with internal IT support teams to ensure a smooth and secure employee onboarding experience.

 

Job Description
The IT Systems Imaging Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and deploying standardized Windows system images and supporting end-user provisioning processes. This position works closely with internal IT and support teams to minimize operational disruptions and ensure systems meet organizational standards for performance, security, and usability.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining standardized “gold images” for multiple hardware models
  • Managing Windows 10/11 imaging using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), MDT, or similar platforms
  • Testing and integrating monthly Windows updates, security patches, and hardware drivers into deployment workflows
  • Packaging and deploying core enterprise applications, including productivity suites, VPN software, and security agents
  • Supporting the provisioning lifecycle, including equipment preparation, imaging, packaging, shipping, and returns
  • Serving as a point of contact for employee technical support via phone, chat, email, and remote tools as needed
  • Managing and documenting provisioning activities through the ticketing system
  • Clearly documenting issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for review, escalation, and audit purposes
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational security standards to protect company systems and data
  • Communicating effectively with a diverse corporate user base

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Windows OS imaging and deployment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 architecture and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with imaging tools such as SCCM/MECM, MDT, SmartDeploy, or Acronis
  • Understanding of patching, driver management, and enterprise application packaging
  • Basic networking knowledge, including DHCP, PXE boot, and DNS concepts
  • Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow structured processes and adapt to evolving technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting corporate onboarding and device provisioning at scale
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools and device management solutions
  • Exposure to macOS or Chrome OS environments
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent
