Onsite in Cincinnati, OH

Our client is a large U.S. financial institution is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $62.00 to $72.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and decompose market problems into prioritized, deliverable user stories.
  • Manage multiple features concurrently and ensure delivery in prioritized order.
  • Drive requirements gathering and definition for stories and features.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to deliver customer value at a regular cadence.
  • Engage across all phases of development including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Articulate epics and features and decompose them into estimable, granular user stories.
  • Evangelize product capabilities and roadmap to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value and ROI during planning.
  • Establish and convey business domain knowledge to represent customer needs to the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members.

Experience Requirements:
  • Proficiency writing user stories and detailed requirements.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry such as banking, financial services, or healthcare.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Technical background enabling effective partnership with engineering teams.
  • Understanding of APIs, events, and data flows.
  • Experience as a product owner or business analyst in software design or development.
  • Understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware, application servers, and presentation layer tools is a plus.
  • Banking experience (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree.
