OverviewMISO is seeking a Database Administrator to support day-to-day database operations and an upcoming Oracle and Exadata refresh. This role focuses primarily on Oracle with some Postgres responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Support Oracle database administration and assist with Exadata migration
- Patch, upgrade, and maintain Postgres databases
- Manage backups, monitoring, and regular database maintenance
- Provide monthly system health and progress reports
- Assist with general DBA tasks as assigned
Requirements- Experience with Oracle and Postgres database administration
- Strong understanding of backups, patching, and upgrades
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite in Carmel, IN four days per week
Nice to Have- Exposure to SQL Server
- Experience with Exadata environments
