Senior Engineering Delivery Lead

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineering Delivery Lead to take full ownership of software delivery, driving execution with a high-agency, results-oriented approach. As the single point of accountability, you will manage the end-to-end delivery process from intake to release, working collaboratively with engineering, product, and client stakeholders. Your primary responsibility is to ensure priorities are clear, commitments are met, and delivery is predictable, proactively anticipating and resolving problems while fostering a culture of momentum and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Own delivery outcomes across all workstreams, ensuring commitments, timelines, and quality are met. Drive execution with urgency and discipline, identifying and resolving risks early. Maintain a real-time view of delivery status across features, dependencies, and teams. Build and enforce a structured work intake and prioritization model. Ruthlessly prioritize to ensure the team is working on the highest-impact items. Protect team capacity by managing unplanned work and unclear requests. Run high-quality Scrum ceremonies with a focus on execution. Ensure backlog readiness, clear acceptance criteria, and strong sprint commitments. Actively participate in Product Increment (PI) planning and ensure alignment to execution. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on all delivery matters. Align with stakeholders on roadmap, scope, and priorities for upcoming increments. Communicate clearly, directly, and proactively, especially regarding risks and trade-offs. Partner with Tech Leads to ensure scalable architecture supports delivery goals. Work with engineering teams to break features into actionable, well-defined stories. Ensure tight alignment between business intent and technical execution. Track features through completion, ensuring readiness for release. Required Qualifications Strong technical foundation (former engineer or equivalent hands-on experience strongly preferred). 10+ years experience owning and delivering complex, high-impact engineering initiatives. Experience leading Agile teams with a strong bias toward execution and outcomes. Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and fast-changing environments. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including client-facing experience. High Agency: You take initiative, create clarity, and drive outcomes without waiting.
