Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in SAP ecosystems and Big Data implementations to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data architecture solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in SAP data integration, modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and large-scale analytics environments.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, SAP functional teams, and enterprise architects to build scalable and high-performing data solutions supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture solutions integrating SAP and Big Data platforms.
• Architect scalable data pipelines and data integration frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
• Work on SAP systems including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BODS, SAP SLT, and SAP HANA.
• Lead Big Data and cloud-based implementations using Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Develop enterprise data models, metadata management strategies, and data governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to define data standards and architecture best practices.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for high-volume enterprise data processing.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives involving AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensure data quality, data security, compliance, and performance optimization across enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development and engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, solution planning, and implementation roadmaps.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration standards.

• SAP Fiori data integration concepts
• Experience integrating SAP with enterprise data lakes and analytics platforms.

Big Data & Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Hadoop
• Apache Spark
• Kafka
• Hive
• Databricks
• Snowflake
• Delta Lake
• Experience building large-scale distributed data processing systems.

Cloud Technologies

• Experience with cloud platforms such as:
• AWS
• Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with cloud-native data architecture and migration strategies.

Database & ETL

• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience with:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• NoSQL databases
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and enterprise data warehousing concepts.

Architecture & Governance

• Enterprise data modeling experience.
• Knowledge of:
• Data Governance
