Pay Rate: $69/hour - $74/hour
Role Overview
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. This role involves reviewing and analyzing complex, multi-faceted, and longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. You will contribute to resolving complex situations and strategically collaborate with client personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on and contribute to the planning of large-scale software engineering initiatives.
- Analyze complex and multi-faceted software engineering challenges to propose effective solutions.
- Ensure deliverables meet function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools and frameworks.
- Work with Parquet files located in S3 buckets for data storage and retrieval.
- Engage in performance tuning and the automation of reports and processes.
- Participate in Agile project ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Specific experience in Data Engineering is required.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Database, SQL, and PLSQL.
- Experience with Python or Java.
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and automation.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence concepts or applications.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $69.53 to $74.16 per hour. Please note that the pay range may be subject to change at any time and may not apply to all locations.
