About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Superintendent to lead onsite operations for a large-scale data center project in Meridian, MS. This role requires a strong technical background in communications infrastructure, proven field leadership capabilities, and the confidence to manage both personnel and complex installation scopes in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily onsite activities for a team of approximately 8-20 technicians, ranging from Tech 1 through Project Lead.
  • Manage workforce scheduling, time tracking, and timesheet approvals.
  • Ensure high-quality installation of conveyance systems, including ladder rack, cable tray, copper, and fiber.
  • Provide hands-on guidance, mentorship, and training to technicians; validate installation quality and compliance with project standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with the General Contractor, other trades, and the customer, including participation in Teams meetings and in-person discussions.
  • Prepare and submit daily updates, work summaries, and maintain project trackers.
  • Complete, submit, and track RFIs, material logs, and other project documentation.
  • Enforce all safety protocols and industry best practices for ISP and OSP environments; proactively identify and correct safety concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with major general contractors and cross-functional project teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing RFI processes and material tracking.
  • Deep understanding of data center communications infrastructure, including copper and fiber systems.
  • Proven ability to teach, mentor, and guide technicians on proper installation methods and best practices.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects with major general contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and confidently in meetings and jobsite discussions.

Safety Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety standards for communications system installations in both ISP and OSP environments.
  • Comfortable enforcing safety rules and addressing safety issues immediately and decisively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Superintendent or field leadership experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience managing multiple crews and coordinating work across cross-functional teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
