Senior Scrum Master

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Senior Scrum Master.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
* Coach teams on Agile methodologies and best practices while helping remove impediments and improve delivery
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and delivery timelines
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, engineering, quality assurance, architecture, operations, and business functions
* Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests across multiple workstreams
* Support release planning, implementation, and overall delivery governance
* Communicate project status, risks, priorities, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership
* Establish and track delivery metrics to monitor progress, team performance, and release predictability
* Partner with distributed teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve delivery challenges
* Promote continuous improvement to enhance quality, productivity, collaboration, and delivery effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Agile or project management certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or PMP are preferred
* 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Agile Program Manager, or similar role supporting software or technology initiatives
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar approaches
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project and Agile management tools
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, software delivery practices, and release management
* Experience managing project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, and multiple workstreams
* Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and cross-functional teams
* Experience supporting cloud, digital transformation, web, mobile, or enterprise technology initiatives is preferred
* Experience working with distributed or global teams is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
