Position Summary
The IAM & Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering the organization's Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment, ERP security roles, Microsoft 365 services, and server systems. This role ensures secure and reliable access to systems for employees and students by managing identities, access controls, and account lifecycles. The position works closely with internal IT teams and vendors to support daily operations, resolve access issues, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administer and support the organization's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution, including account provisioning, deprovisioning, and access controls.
Investigate and resolve identity related issues such as authentication failures, account lockouts, and permission problems.
Administer ERP security roles, permissions, and user access in alignment with organizational policies and segregation of duties requirements.
Assist with performing access reviews and audits.
Assist with providing operational support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Assist with Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, user and license management, and troubleshooting service related issues.
Monitor server environments, validate data replication processes, and assist with troubleshooting operational issues.
Maintain technical documentation related to system configurations, access assignments, and change controls.
Collaborate with IT staff, business units, and vendors to support system updates, incident resolution, and operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering an Identity and Access Management (IAM) system, including access reviews, documentation, and resolution of role based access issues.
Knowledge of IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, access provisioning, and compliance controls.
Ability to work independently within established guidelines and determine appropriate approaches to assigned work.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree with a Computer Information Systems (CIS) focus.
IAM related certifications; Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS 900); ITIL.
Some experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and Azure Active Directory.
Familiarity with ERP security roles and permissions.
Some experience monitoring server performance and supporting hardware and asset lifecycle management.
Some knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Ellucian Banner ERP, and Linux.
Work Environment
Dynamic IT environment with changing priorities and operational demands.
Hybrid work from home option, with a minimum of 3 days on premises.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
