Job description: The SAP Data Sphere & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) AMS Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Data Sphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) and SAC environments.
The role involves incident management, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, data pipeline monitoring, and user support across business domains.
The engineer works closely with business users, functional teams, and data engineers to maintain availability, reliability, and performance of the analytics ecosystem.
Responsibilities Monitor and Maintain: Ensure smooth operation of SAP Data Sphere dataflows, connections, and SAC dashboards; perform daily health checks and resolve performance or data latency issues.Incident & Problem Management: Handle L2/L3 support tickets, perform root cause analysis, and document fixes and knowledge articles.Change & Release Support: Deploy and validate Data Sphere and SAC configuration changes, models, and reports as per AMS release and ITIL processes.
Performance Optimization: Analyze and tune slow queries, data models, and dashboards to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
User & Access Management: Support business users with dashboard issues, data validation, and role-based security in Data Sphere and SAC.
Industry experience needed?: Power Utility (Good to have)
Education needed for the role: Bachelors degree
