Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Deerfield, IL Duration: Longterm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support in a mixed Mac and Windows environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and MDM solutions, along with excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support for Windows 10/11 and macOS systems
  • Manage device provisioning, imaging, deployment, and lifecycle
  • Administer Microsoft Intune for device configuration and compliance
  • Manage users, groups, and policies in Active Directory
  • Support and manage MDM solutions (Intune, Jamf, AirWatch, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Configure and support printers, peripherals, and conference room AV setups
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Provide white-glove support when required

Required Skills:
Up to 5 years of Desktop / End-User Support experience
Strong hands-on experience in Mac + Windows environments
Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint compliance
Experience with Active Directory (user management, GPO, permissions)
Experience with MDM platforms
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
