Job Details

We are seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on commercial construction projects, developing accurate budgets and cost analyses to drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and construction documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Develop budgets, schedules, and cost projections for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work
  • Perform value management to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining project quality
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure scope coverage and competitiveness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and suppliers
  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and execute subcontract agreements and final contract estimates
  • Collaborate with ownership, design teams, and project management throughout preconstruction

Qualifications
  • ~5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating within a general contractor environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software, including Destiny (Beck Technology) preferred
  • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with budgeting, takeoffs, and cost analysis across multiple project types
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, team oriented environment
