Role: Senior Hardware Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Must have skills:

  • Skilled in schematic capture, PCB stackup planning, and layout optimization for complex motherboard architectures
Description:
  • Development and continuous enhancement of high-volume consumer electronics products with a focus on robust hardware design and integration.
  • The project emphasizes innovation, optimization, and maintenance within a dynamic, feature-driven environment.
What candidate is needed:
  • Proficient in advanced electrical and electronics engineering principles including high-speed signal integrity and power management circuit design.
  • Skilled in schematic capture, PCB stackup planning, and layout optimization for complex motherboard architectures.
  • Experienced in handling managing hardware lifecycle from prototyping to mass production.
  • Adept at leveraging emerging technologies and AI-assisted tools to streamline hardware design and debugging processes.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities to identify and resolve architectural and functional hardware issues.
What candidate will do:
  • Perform hardware design tasks including schematic development, PCB layout, and component selection aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate regularly with client managers and cross-functional development teams to align hardware solutions with project goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement through optimization, refactoring, and feature enhancement of existing hardware platforms.
  • Conduct technical research and analyze findings to propose innovative and efficient hardware solutions.
  • Manage task execution autonomously while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Support maintenance phases by troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing hardware upgrades.
