Business Analyst (Investment Banking) - Hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client looking for a Business Analyst in the NYC area.

Summary:
This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping to define, document, and deliver enhancements that support investment banking operations.

This is a highly business-facing role requiring strong communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and a solid understanding of investment banking processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with senior business leaders and translating business needs into actionable requirements for product and development teams.

Responsibilities:
* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business stakeholders
* Facilitate meetings and workshops to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives
* Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation
* Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
* Support ongoing enhancements and initiatives related to the Deal Management platform
* Partner with Product, Engineering, Project Management, UX, and other cross-functional teams
* Assist with requirement prioritization, solution validation, and user acceptance activities
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business processes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
* Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with business objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 to 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
* Prior Investment Banking experience is required
* Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation skills
* Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders
* Understanding of investment banking deal processes, pipelines, reporting, and industry terminology
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting deal management, CRM, workflow, or other business-critical platforms within financial services
* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies
* Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams on enterprise application initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
