As a Permanent Controller in the Engineering industry, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization. This position involves overseeing all aspects of our financial systems, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, while also providing strategic financial guidance to support our business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned financial professional with a background in engineering to contribute to the financial success of our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial performance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
