Required Skills :
Hands-on experience administering and configuring Jira in support of software development, QA, and release management processes
Experience with Jira configuration elements (workflows, work types, custom fields, screens, Schemes, permissions, notifications, dashboards, filters, automations, etc.)
Strong written and communication skills to draft and send Batch Release Notes or similar tooling to generate and manage release communications from Jira data
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving Jira configuration, workflow, permission, and integration issues
Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with requirements management to support requirements traceability matrix s (RTMs) and end-to-end traceability across requirements, test cases, design documents, and releases
Experience developing training content, user guides, SOPs, and reference materials for technical and non-technical users
Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain Jira to support software development, testing, defect management, and release processes
Design and manage Jira configurations including workflows, issue types, screens, field configurations, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules
Support and maintain requirements traceability processes using the RTM tool, including creating and managing RTMs with ease
Draft Batch Release Notes of Jira changes on a regular basis
Create, update, and maintain documentation such as user guides, SOPs, process flows
Develop and deliver training content and end-user support materials
Manage user access, roles, groups, and permissions
Troubleshoot Jira-related issues, including configuration errors, workflow gaps, permission conflicts, and user-reported problems
