IT Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for an IT Manager to join their growing team in Tyson, VA. The IT Manager will manage 2 technical team members (Helpdesk Analyst and Systems Administrator), and work closely with a 3rd Party IT Consultant and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).

Responsibilities:
* Manage daily IT operations, including help desk performance, ticket priorities, escalations, service levels, and timely resolution; Own issues through closure with appropriate follow-up, communication, and documentation
* Provide hands-on Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex or recurring technology issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
* Lead, coach, and develop internal IT team members and coordinate effectively with external IT and cybersecurity partners
* Manage Microsoft 365, cloud applications, endpoints, networks, infrastructure, and other corporate technology platforms
* Identify gaps in IT operations, systems, processes, documentation, and controls; Develop scalable solutions and drive improvements through completion
* Lead technology projects, implementations, integrations, hardware refreshes, and other IT initiatives from planning through execution, with clear priorities, ownership, timelines, and follow-through
* Support and maintain Procon's CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 compliance and certification readiness, including technical controls, documentation, remediation activities, and coordination with cybersecurity partners and internal stakeholders
* Monitor cybersecurity risks and work with the MSSP and other partners to address vulnerabilities, incidents, and corrective actions
* Manage IT assets, software licensing, vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and technology budgets
* Partner with business and operational teams to understand needs, bridge technology gaps, and implement practical solutions that improve the end-user experience

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
