IT Support Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Analyst in Portage, MI.

Summary:
The IT Support Specialist provides technical support for all company offices and field operations, serving as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues. This role manages the IT Help Desk, resolves support requests, configures hardware and software, supports users remotely, maintains IT systems, and ensures devices remain secure and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
* IT Support Analyst will serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and help desk tickets
* Install, configure, and support computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals
* Provide user training and technical assistance
* Manage antivirus, Windows updates, and system security
* As an IT Support Analyst, you will support users remotely and troubleshoot network, phone, and computer issues
* Maintain IT documentation and assist with technology projects as assigned
* Stay current with emerging technologies through ongoing training and professional development

REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Skills:
* Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory
* iOS devices and Linux systems
* Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and printer management
* Information security and endpoint protection
* PowerShell, WSUS, telephone systems
* CAD/BIM software and IT management systems

Qualifications & Abilities:
* Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Professional customer service mindset with attention to documentation
* Willingness to provide after-hours support and project assistance when needed
* Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and manage time effectively
* Ability to use basic tools, ladders, and lifts as required
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for moving IT equipment
* Commitment to continuous learning and industry certifications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
