Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Director of Information Technology to join their team in Saint Louis, Missouri (MO).

Summary:
This leadership role will be responsible for driving the organization's technology strategy, overseeing day-to-day IT operations, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, operational leadership, and business partnership experience.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the IT team, providing mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction
* Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals
* Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and employee experience
* Oversee technology infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, business applications, and end-user support services
* Lead system implementations, upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and technology modernization efforts
* Establish standards for technology assets, software licensing, system configurations, and documentation
* Manage cybersecurity programs, including identity and access management, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and data security initiatives
* Oversee Help Desk operations and ensure high-quality support across multiple locations
* Manage IT budgets and relationships with vendors, managed service providers, software partners, and consultants
* Lead technology projects from planning through execution, ensuring effective communication, resource management, and successful delivery
* Develop and maintain IT policies, governance standards, and operational procedures supporting security, compliance, and business objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
* 7+ years of progressive IT experience
* 3+ years of experience leading IT teams and departmental operations
* Strong background supporting infrastructure, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and end-user support
* Experience managing IT operating and capital budgets
* Proven track record leading technology initiatives and system implementations
* Experience managing vendors, software licensing, technology contracts, and managed service providers
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, IT governance, and compliance frameworks
* Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
