Embedded Software Engineer

BrightAI Corporation is looking for a Firmware Software Engineer with a strong cellular knowledge to join its wearables and IoT team. This is an individual contributor role responsible for integrating cellular (5G/LTE) connectivity into Linux and Android-based wearable and IoT products.
The engineer will be the sole cellular integration specialist on a collaborative team of approximately 10 engineers and will own the cellular subsystem end-to-end. The role involves managing data routing between Wi-Fi and cellular, communicating with modems, and serving as the technical go-to resource for cellular across multiple projects. Deep over-the-air protocol expertise is not required.
The role is collaborative and cross-functional, without people-management responsibilities, and offers strong potential for contract extension or conversion.
Onsite role to start 5 days with flex to 3 days per week onsite after ramped up

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
