Job Title: AV Operations Technican
Location: Bellevue, WA
Hours: M-F, 8am to 5pm
Length: 1 year contract
The AV Operations Tech will be a solo operator responsible for both Event support and conference room upkeep in medium/small offices. They should be have experience
working in both maintenance and event support. We generally want these folks to be more of a lead, able to work independently.
JOB DESCRIPTION- Support All-Hands meetings and larger internal/external events (Tiers 1 & 2)
- Setup and breakdown of events (if applicable)
- Integrate company communication platforms with physical meeting spaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in event spaces
- Collaborate with Workplace and Facilities teams on room and venue preparations
- Develop technical plans for regular corporate events (quarterly reviews, team meetings)
- Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians on company equipment standards
- Support remote employee participation in hybrid events
- Participate in cross-departmental planning meetings for upcoming events
- Train and mentor Level 1 technicians
- Assist with equipment procurement recommendations
Must Have- 5+ years of direct industry experience coordinating and delivering internal event support in the tech sector.
- Expert level experience supporting events ranging from executive meetings, trainings, investor meetings, and all-company events.
- Expert level experience supporting, and troubleshooting of enterprise event AV including QSC, Yamaha, Vizrt, Ross, Barco, Blackmagic, Cisco and Logitech.
- Expert level experience with video conferencing platforms and the nuance of using them in event spaces (Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex)
- Expert level experience operating professional presentation hardware (Video switchers, audio mixers, PTZ camera control).
- Experience with AV over IP (QSC QLAN, Crestron NVX, Dante, NDI). Expert level experience with IT ticketing systems and maintaining support SLAs Experience with enterprise networking technologies and architectures
