Job Title: IT Project Manager II

Job Description: BASIC OBJECTIVE
Lead cross-functional IT and Marketing teams delivering customer data and marketing technology initiatives, ensuring high data quality, privacy compliance, and business value realization.
Deliver initiatives using iterative, incremental delivery approaches that enable early value realization, continuous feedback, and adaptive planning.
Motivated self-starter to learn; project methodology, dynamics of the organization, tools used to support technology delivery. Including KPI s and measured deliverables.
Lead project teams on multi- functional, complex projects and handle three or more projects at a time.
Strategize, implement, and maintain project initiatives that adhere to defined project management methodologies. Including iterative testing and validation that ensures production readiness, data quality, and stakeholder confidence.
Prepare project status reports, including adherence to schedule, budget, risks (RAID) and capable of presenting to management effectively.
Work with business and IT to determine objectives, deliverables and success criteria of solutions. Operational support plans developed to support solutions after the project is closed.
Some latitude for independent actions and decisions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Responsibilities
Work closely with marketing, IT, data governance, project sponsors, and assigned team members to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new or active project initiatives
Manage project for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Lead and leverage team members to perform project review meetings and management presentations, creating project delivery plans and backlog-driven work structures, including project milestone schedule, test plan, success criteria monitoring and control, developing procedures, documentation, and system implementation plan.
Provide spirited, positive leadership of projects. Control the project scope, resources, and quality within budget and schedule to meet objectives.
Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as assure efficient operation of existing systems and programs.
Prepare and publish systems project status reports.
Develop high-level solution definitions. Assist in developing system documentation. Advise on user procedures. Assist in the preparation of general test plan. Coordinate system tests.

Specific Job Content
This role requires leading major customer data and marketing technology initiatives, often involving multiple source systems and downstream marketing platforms.
The Project Manager must have leadership skills to manage upwardly to senior executives as well as motivate core team members.
Demonstrated usage of project delivery practices aligned with PMBOK, including iterative and adaptive delivery approaches.
Lead or act as a key contributor to Change Management, Performance Management and Release Management processes.
Facilitate the translation of business needs into technical solutions using judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
