Project Manager (Business Process Reengineering Project)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Schenectady, NY.

Description:
The client is seeking Project Manager for assignments to technology projects. They will manage multiple projects and/or multi-year projects utilizing Project Management Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies that result in the successful implementation of complex information technology solutions. Project managers will perform a full range of project management tasks including:

? Allocation, estimation, and reporting of project resources;
? Identification and maintenance of critical path and contingencies;
? Utilization of formal project change control process;
? Identification, monitoring, control, and mitigation planning of project risks;
? Creation and management of project documentation including but not limited to scope statement, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and communication plan;
? Establishment of project team roles and responsibilities;
? Facilitation of regular status meetings with project team to monitor project health and progress;
? Creation of weekly and monthly status reports to communicate project status to all levels of stakeholders including executives, sponsors, and management;
? Facilitation of sponsor and executive level meetings.

Mandatory Qualification:
? Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months experience with following an industry accepted Project Management methodology. List the methods used.
? 84 months experience in project communication, including leading regularly scheduled project team meetings, preparing meeting minutes, facilitating meetings to resolve project issues, preparing status reports, presenting project status briefings to leadership, and presenting project status briefings to project steering committees.
? 84 months managing technology projects, developing project scope, goals, deliverables, budget, and schedule.
? 84 months experience in project management maintaining and managing project schedules including milestones and resources. Describe the deliverables of those projects.
? 84 months experience as Project Manager in a federal/state or public facing application project implementation.
? 60 months experience as a Project Manager for a business process reengineering project.
? 60 months experience with managing projects using MS Project.
