Summary

Our New York based client is seeking a Claims Platform Product Manager for a 6+ month fully remote contracting opportunity in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • The Product Manager will lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of claims-related products and capabilities within an Epic environment.
  • This role will work closely with business stakeholders, claims operations, technology teams, and leadership to improve claims processing, user experience, operational efficiency, and overall business outcomes.
  • Responsibilities include defining and managing the product roadmap, gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, and supporting Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management.
  • This consultant will partner with Epic application teams and technical stakeholders to support platform capabilities, integrations, workflow improvements, reporting, compliance, and ongoing product optimization. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Qualified candidates should have 6+ years of product management experience, strong healthcare claims experience, and hands-on experience working with Epic applications, workflows, integrations, and healthcare technology ecosystems. Experience in payer, provider, managed care, or health insurance environments is strongly preferred.

Additional preferred experience includes:
  • Epic certification or significant Epic implementation experience
  • Knowledge of claims regulations and reimbursement models
  • Experience with APIs and enterprise systems
  • Data analytics or reporting experience
  • Product management or Agile certifications.

Candidates must be eligible to work on a W-2 basis. No third-party vendor submissions will be considered for this role.
