Position Title: Systems Administrator - III (REMOTE)
Location: Remote (Near Dallas, TX or any of the 12 branch locations: Richmond VA, Boston MA, New York NY, Philadelphia PA, Cleveland OH, Atlanta GA, Chicago IL, St. Louis MO, Minneapolis MN, Kansas City MO, Dallas TX, San Francisco CA)

Position Description:
Join a prestigious federal agency as a Systems Administrator - III in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you'll collaborate with top-tier technology professionals to enhance and safeguard critical economic and financial systems at the nation's central bank. Focus on deploying and managing middleware applications, supporting infrastructure, and automating processes with cutting-edge tools. This 18-month contract offers competitive pay, with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment. Ideal for experienced IT professionals eager to make an impact in a high-security environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage middleware products including Application Server and Web Server, overseeing deployment, configuration, and support.
- Support application testing, infrastructure testing, and certificate management.
- Configure and maintain application servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Jython, Shell, and Ansible to streamline operations.
- Provide on-call support and assist in troubleshooting incidents.
- Work primarily Monday Friday, with occasional weekend shifts (Tuesday Saturday) as needed.
Top Requirements:
- Proven experience with Java and WebSphere Application Server
- Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with Python and Jython scripting
- Knowledge of Ansible automation tools
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and services
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
