About the RoleA large healthcare organization is in the middle of a multi-year Microsoft 365 transformation and is seeking an experienced
M365 Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise environment.
This role focuses on administering and optimizing Microsoft 365 services while helping lead the next phase of the organization's M365 roadmap, including a major Purview migration scheduled through late 2026. You'll work closely with a small team of M365 Engineers, infrastructure leadership, and cross-functional technical teams.
What You'll Do- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including:
- Exchange Online (hybrid environment)
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Purview
- Support enterprise-scale deployments and migrations
- Monitor, maintain, and improve system performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated M365 issues
- Develop PowerShell scripts from scratch to automate workflows and administrative tasks
- Collaborate across teams to improve platform reliability and user experience
- Help maintain and advance a multi-year Microsoft 365 roadmap
Required Skills & Experience- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365
- Exchange Online (hybrid environments)
- Microsoft Teams deployment and administration
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive
- PowerShell scripting (must be able to create and modify scripts independently)
- Active Directory fundamentals
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

- Azure and Intune
- SCCM
- Advanced Exchange Online troubleshooting
- Email security tools (e.g., Proofpoint)
- Load balancers (NetScaler or F5)
- Multi-tier troubleshooting experience

- Multiple physical locations and data centers
- Team of 4 dedicated M365 Engineers
- Fully remote with quarterly onsite sessions for major go-lives or planning workshops

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.67/hr.
