Business / Application Analyst

• Responsible for managing assigned applications throughout their full lifecycle including intake, analysis, deployment, support, and retirement.
• The role involves application analysis, operational support, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring applications meet operational, compliance, and security standards within production environments.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Application Lifecycle Management.
• Strong understanding of application architecture including UI, middleware, database tiers, and integrations.
• Experience assessing application dependencies and operational risks.
• Hands-on experience providing L2 and L3 application support in production environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform impact analysis and requirement clarification.
• Ability to translate business requirements into operational actions.
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

• Experience managing application lifecycle activities including analysis, deployment, support, and retirement.
• Experience coordinating changes across multiple technical teams.
• Experience supporting incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Experience collaborating with offshore and onsite teams.
• Experience working with operational workflows, SOPs, and playbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of ownership for assigned applications across their lifecycle.
• Manage end-to-end Application Lifecycle Management activities including impact analysis, dependency mapping, and risk identification.
• Ensure applications meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze application architecture, integrations, dependencies, and upstream/downstream impacts.
• Perform impact and risk assessments for changes, incidents, upgrades, and releases.
• Provide hands-on L2 and L3 application support including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors, development teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams.
• Drive incidents, problems, and change activities to closure with proper documentation and communication.
• Maintain application documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Support collaboration across offshore and onsite teams.
• Provide support for client-facing activities across time zones as required.
