Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
Experience : 12+

We are seeking a skilled Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a mid-level/senior expert, you will be responsible for managing and deploying containerized applications on Azure Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies, particularly in Azure, with a focus on OpenShift container platforms.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage, configure, and maintain Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.

·        Deploy and optimize containerized applications using OpenShift Operators and best practices.

·        Integrate and manage ARO with Azure services, including networking, monitoring, and logging tools.

·        Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and implement GitOps workflows.

·        Ensure security and compliance through RBAC, container security tools, and regulatory standards.

·        Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Log Analytics.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document operational processes and best practices.

 

Required Qualifications

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·        5+ years of experience in managing Kubernetes-based environments.

·        3+ years of experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift or OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

·        Strong hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

·        Cloud Expertise: Proven experience working with Azure cloud services, including networking, resource management, and monitoring.

·        DevOps Skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and GitOps methodologies.

·        Hands-on experience in Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD and GitLab is required.

·        Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

·        Familiarity with service mesh tools like Istio.

·        Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and networking is preferred

·        Experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools is preferred
