Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Architect to support Electricity Market Management Systems (MMS) and Grid Software (GSW) platforms. This role involves designing and securing highly available, scalable, and mission-critical network infrastructures supporting real-time energy market operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in utility (OT/IT) environments, cybersecurity frameworks, and network architecture for critical infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure, scalable network architectures for MMS and grid platforms
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems
Architect and enforce cybersecurity controls across IT and OT environments
Support real-time systems including:
- Market clearing & bidding systems
- Energy forecasting platforms
- Settlement systems
- Grid operations applications
Implement network segmentation between IT and OT environments
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as:
- NERC CIP
- ISO/RTO regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, cybersecurity)
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of experience in Network & Security Architecture
Strong experience with:
- Enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Cloud networking (AWS / Azure preferred)
- Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, NERC CIP)
Hands-on experience with OT/IT convergence environments
Experience supporting energy/utility domain systems
Knowledge of ISO/RTO markets and electricity trading systems
Expertise in high-availability and disaster recovery architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Electricity Market Management Systems (MMS) or Grid Software (GSW)
Certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CCNP / CCIE
- CISM
Exposure to SCADA, EMS, or power systems environments
