Senior Project Engineer – SCADA / EMS / GridOS (Energy & Utilities)

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with deep expertise in SCADA/EMS systems, energy management platforms, and real-time control environments. This role will support GridOS AEMS Services and Markets Services, focusing on the successful delivery of complex utility and energy automation projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in GE Grid solutions (including GE Reliance), system integration, and mission-critical infrastructure within the energy domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering design and implementation of SCADA/EMS and energy management systems

• Work on GridOS AEMS / Market Services platforms for real-time grid operations

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and clients

• Perform system integration across multiple platforms and environments

• Conduct:

  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

  • System Integration Testing (SIT)

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Ensure high availability and performance of real-time control systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in SCADA / EMS / Energy Management Systems

• Hands-on experience with GE Grid solutions (GE Reliance preferred)

• Strong experience in:

  • UNIX / Linux environments

  • System integration & deployment

  • Real-time control systems

• Knowledge of communication protocols such as:

  • ICCP (TASE.2)

  • DNP3

  • Modbus

• Experience working in utility / power systems domain

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GridOS, AEMS, or Electricity Market Systems

• Familiarity with:

  • ISO/RTO environments

  • Energy trading / market operations

• Strong understanding of power systems and grid operations

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
