Our client seeks a Unified Endpoint Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) to engineer, implement, maintain, and support enterprise Unified Endpoint Management services. The role covers Windows endpoint lifecycle management including provisioning and upgrades, application deployment, patching, configuration management, automation, security compliance, troubleshooting, and support for Microsoft Intune, co-management, modern provisioning, and mobile device management.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise endpoint management solutions using MECM/SCCM and related technologies.
  • Engineer and support Windows 11 provisioning, operating system deployment, feature upgrades, configuration management, and device lifecycle processes.
  • Package, test, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications using MECM/SCCM and PowerShell.
  • Coordinate and execute monthly Windows security patching and remediation including testing, deployment, troubleshooting, compliance monitoring, and failure resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, test, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts and automation for administration, deployment, configuration, reporting, and remediation.
  • Configure, test, deploy, and maintain GPOs, configuration and compliance policies aligned to standards and security requirements.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and co-management including enrollment, configuration, compliance, application deployment, and migration to modern management.
  • Monitor endpoint health, deployment status, and compliance; investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot complex Windows endpoint issues across OS, applications, registry, services, file systems, AD, GPO, networking, security controls, and endpoint tools.
  • Support endpoint security and vulnerability management including secure configurations, remediation, and zero-trust and PCI requirements.
  • Support management of mobile and Apple devices using Intune, Apple Business Manager, MDM, and MAM.
  • Participate in change management processes including documentation, impact evaluation, deployment coordination, and rollback support.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Identity, Service Desk, Infrastructure, Networking, Application Teams, IT liaisons, and vendors.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, deployment guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
  • Provide technical guidance to Service Desk, departmental technology staff, UEM team members, and internal customers.
  • Evaluate endpoint technologies to improve automation, reliability, security, user experience, and efficiency.
  • Use modern productivity and AI-assisted tools to improve scripting, documentation, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and operations.

Experience Requirements:
  • Three or more years of IT experience in enterprise endpoint management, systems administration, or desktop engineering.
  • Hands-on MECM/SCCM administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Windows 10/11 lifecycle support including OS deployment or provisioning, patching, software deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience packaging, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise Windows applications.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell for administration, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience administering or supporting Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security, configuration management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience troubleshooting across Windows OS, applications, networking, identity, and endpoint management technologies.
  • Preferred: Five or more years in large enterprises supporting 5,000+ users; Intune, co-management, Windows Autopilot, and Entra ID; mobile device management and Apple Business Manager; Endpoint Analytics and compliance reporting; enterprise OS upgrades or endpoint transformation; PCI or similar security requirements; relevant Microsoft certifications; experience with AI-assisted administrative tools.
  • Hard requirements: SCCM and MECM. Intune is preferred but not required.

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or Equivalent and five years of related work experience, OR Two-Year College Degree and three years of related work experience, OR Bachelor's Degree and one year of related work experience, OR Master's Degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
