BA with data Profiling Skills:
Experience Required: 3-5 years in project management or business analysis within the Life Sciences industry. Candidates based in the EST time zone (preferably from the US or Canada) are highly preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in business analysis, data modeling, and metadata management.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and MicroStrategy.
- Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex LLM or similar AI-powered metadata tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in life sciences or regulated industries preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions using SMART and MicroStrategy.
• Design and maintain advanced analytics systems that simplify complex business problems into actionable frameworks.
• Evaluate existing business processes and data flows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Develop and maintain standardized metadata definitions across datasets, ensuring semantic clarity and consistency.
• Use Snowflake Cortex LLM to automate metadata enrichment, generate intelligent data descriptions, and support natural language querying.
• Build and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, to support enterprise-wide data literacy.
• Create comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), training materials, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with data stewards and governance teams to align metadata standards with enterprise policies.
• Partner with project managers and business stakeholders to prioritize analytics needs and define critical KPIs.
• Deliver actionable insights through BI dashboards and reports, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring data quality and completeness.
• Use Snowflake SQL to extract, validate, and troubleshoot datasets during testing and deployment phases.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support data governance initiatives.
