Summary

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain low-latency, responsive frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern build tools.
Real-Time Streaming: Build and optimize UI components driven by continuous, high-throughput data streams via WebSockets and internal real-time data services.
Performance Engineering: Optimize complex, data-heavy UI grids for maximum speed, scalability, and frame-rate stability; eliminate rendering bottlenecks and memory leaks.
State Management: Architect robust, predictable client-side state machine structures using Redux to handle rapid, asynchronous updates seamlessly.
Collaborative Delivery: Partner closely with backend engineers, quantitative researchers, product owners, and front-office trading stakeholders to translate complex workflows into elegant UI solutions.
Modern Workflows: Maintain high code quality through rigorous test automation (Jest, React Testing Library) and actively evaluate/leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery velocity.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience centered on advanced frontend development.
Core Stack: Mastery of React.js, TypeScript, and advanced Redux state management architectures.
Data Streaming: Deep, hands-on experience handling real-time data protocols (WebSockets, SSE) and managing high-frequency, asynchronous UI updates.
UI Optimization: Proven track record of performance-tuning large-scale, data-dense applications (handling virtualized lists, heavy grid rendering, and browser profiling).
Testing & CI/CD: Solid experience with modern testing frameworks (Jest / RTL) and automated delivery pipelines.
Full-Systems Mindset: Strong understanding of how backend architecture, network latency, and data payloads impact frontend execution.
